$XRPreceived a fresh boost this week with the launch of the first U.S. spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) tied to the cryptocurrency, which generated nearly $25 million in trading volume in less than two hours.

Commenting on the launch,BloombergSenior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas said that he was in “semi-shock,” as the debut volume was five times greater than $XRPfutures ETFs managed on their first day.

“SEMI-SHOCK: Rex $XRPETF XRPP is already at $24m in volume. That is way more than I would have thought. For context it’s 5x more than any of the $XRPfutures ETFs did on Day One and it’s only been 90min,” wrote Balchunas on X.

Unsurprisingly, traders are already speculating on the trajectory of not just $XRPbut crypto in general, with Balchunas himself interpreting the situation as a “good sign for the onslaught of 33 Act ETFs coming soon.”

Weighing both the key drivers this week and the most important technical indicators, Finbold consulted ChatGPT-5 regarding potential XFP price targets for the end of the year. The artificial intelligence (AI) concluded that “the asset could be heading for a decisive year-end rally.”

Trading at around $3.04 at press time, $XRPcould close 2025 at a price between as low as $2.50 in the most bearish and $10 in the most bullish scenario, implying a potential upside of 230% from the current levels, according to the language learning model (LLM).

Pressed for a tighter forecast range, the chatbot predicted that $XRPis most likely to close the year somewhere between $4.80 and $5.50.

This isright around the middle of the moderate bull scenario, which assumes growing ETF adoption and additional momentum generated by the broader industry.
